DEATH OF MRS. ISENHOWER

Passed Away This Morning - Aged 73 Years

The death of Mrs. Anna Isenhower occurred this morning at 5:45 o'clock at the home on Washington Street.

Mrs. Isenhower was born in Greene County, Tenn., Aug. 7, 1825. At three years of age she moved with her parents to Johnson County, Ind., and afterwards moved to Boone County, Indiana, Where she was married to John Isenhower in June, 1854. In 1801 they went to Benton county Iowa, where they lived till the fall of 1863, when they moved to their farm at Washburn, where Mrs. Isenhower spent the remaining years of her life except the last year she has lived in this city.

She was the mother of eight children, six of whom survive her: Mrs. Mary J. Smith, of Pellican Rapids, Minn.; Mrs. Ella S. Werner, of Parkersburg, Iowa, Sylvenus; Sylvester J.; Jessie A. and Mrs. W. A. Hedrick, of this place.

She became a member of the Lutheran church at Whitestown, Ind., where she was a faithful member till she moved to her home at Washburn. There being no association of that denomination at that place she with her husband united with the Presbyterian church.

The funeral will be held at the home of the deceased Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. C. H. Purmort officiating. The remains will be taken to Washburn for interment.
