Mrs. Hattie H. Truair died at her home, 117 Sycamore Street, at 3:30 a.m. today, of heart trouble.

She was born at Crete, Ill., June 19, 1853, and at age of two years she moved with her parents to Iowa, locating at Strawberry Point. She was married April 11, 1875, to Henry A. Truair, who died in May. 1915. She had resided in Waterloo since 1909.

Mrs. Truair was the mother of eight children, six of whom are living. They are: Clara E., Charles H., Merton D. C., Edwin, Arthur H. and Nellie. Also surviving are four sisters and a brother: Mrs. A. Bowman, St. Olaf; Mrs. Carrie Litts, Toronto, Ia.; Mrs. A. Bowers and Mrs. Lutie Hughart, Strawberry Point; and Datus E. Truair, Ravenna, O.

She was a member of Grave M. E. Church, from which place funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. E. J. Lockwood will officiate.
