Funeral services for Robert R. Nash, 61, father of Mrs. George E. Lichty, 301 Walnut Court, apartments, and Mrs. John W. Gwynne, 1225 Independence Avenue, who died suddenly Wednesday at 6:15 p. m. of apoplexy at the home of Mrs. Lichty, will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at O'Keefe & Towne chapel, with Rev. Ernest B. Mounsey, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, officiatng. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
For a number of years Mr. Nash was a conductor for the Illinois Central Railroad but had not been active service for some time. He had been confined to his bed by paralysis for the last year.
Robert Richard Nash was born in Butler County, Iowa, March 1, 1871. He was the son of Cyrus and Lydia Nash and married Rana Harkin Nov. 5, 1891. His wife preceded him in death.
Surviving are his two daughters, Mrs. Lichty and Mrs. Gwynne, and two grandchildren.
