WATERLOO - William John Beisker, 79, of Waterloo, died Monday, July 11, at Country View Care Facility of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 16, 1925, in Postville, son of William H. and Ruth M. Stockman Beisker.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Beisker worked in construction in Sherman, Texas, Colorado, Keokuk, Charles City, Rockford, Ill., and Waterloo.

Survivors include two sisters, Daisy Atwood of Sherman, Texas, and Cherri Beisker of Calmar.

Preceded in death by a brother, Francis.

Services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Country View, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Friends may call for an hour before services at Country View.

Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
