Funeral services for Clarence Wheaton Bronson, 65, who died Tuesday afternoon at his home, 402 Conger Street, after a long illness, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kearns chapel, Rev. Hilmore Cedarholm, assistant pastor of Burton Avenue Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be Saturday morning at Fairbury, Neb.

Mr. Bronson's illness dated from 14 years ago, when he became afflicted with encephalitis, or sleeping sickness.

He was born April 7, 1868, at Raymond, Iowa., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman H. Bronson. He lived at Maxbass, N. D., for a number of years, moving to Waterloo nine years ago

In 1904 at Fairbury, Neb., he married Miss Kittie Quinn. She died Dec. 16, 1909, and on Feb 21, 1916, Mr. Bronson married Mrs. Lillian Jackson, of Waterloo.

Surviving besides his widow are a daughter, Mrs. Earl Johnson, Washington, D.C.; a son, Kenneth Bronson, 109 Block Avenue; a step-daughter, Mrs. Earl F. Jago, 402 Conger Street; a sister, Mrs. R. E. Spafford, Maxbass, N. D.; five brothers: Dr. I. C. and Dr. A. F. Bronson, Nora Springs, Iowa; Dr. A. E. Bronson, Minier, Ill, Dr. J. L. Bronson, 320 Second Street West, and Clayton E. Bronson, 132 Alta Vista Avenue. The daughter will arrive here Thursday morning.

The body is at the Kearns Funeral Home.
