Ernest Haack, 83, of 108 Columbia Circle, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1991, at
Covenant Medical Center at Ninth Street of natural causes.

He was born April 7, 1908, in Grundy County, son of Cornelius and Grace Meyer Haack. He married Hazel Miller on March 6, 1945, in Los Angeles.

Mr. Haack was employed in the inspection department at Deere & Co. for 31 years, retiring in 1968. He served in the Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; and four sisters, his twin, Lydia Lutterman, Bilda Weber and Ivadean Lutz, all of Cedar Falls, and Gladys Vollenweider of Waterloo.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at O'Keefe & Towne-Grarup & Waychoff Funeral Home and for an hour before services at the church.
