Funeral services for John Chris Tetzner, 66, former Waterloo resident, who died at Kirksville, Mo., will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Congregational Church in Reinbeck, Iowa. Burial will be in the Reinbeck Cemetery.

Mr. Tetzner was born March 24, 1884, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The son of John and Margaret Tetzner, he came to this country with his parents as a small child.

The family settled at Traer, Iowa. Mr. Tetzner lived all of his life in this area until four years ago when he moved to Kirksville.

He was married to Dorothea Soltau, Jan. 22. 1908, in Reinbeck.

Survivors include his wife, at Kirksville; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Turner, Kirksville, and Mrs. Robert Marquart, 111 Alta Vista Avenue; one brother, Albert Tetzner, 2217 East Fifth Street; three sisters: Alvina Soltau, Davenport, Iowa; Minnie Soltau, Windom, Minn., and Lena Manlick, Osceola, Iowa; a niece who was brought up in the Tetzner home, Violet Schumacher, Kirksville, and one grandchild.

Mr. Tetzner was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
