WATERLOO - Donald T. Jenson, 68, of Waterloo, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born Feb. 4, 1937, in Waterloo, son of Jake and Dorothy Harn Jenson. He married Cheri Frye on May 26, 1978, in Waterloo.

Mr. Jenson was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and was employed as a carman for G.E. Railcar for 23 years, retiring in October 1998.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brad (Jean) Droste of Urbana and Stewart (Danielle) Droste of Waterloo; a daughter, Missy (Chad) Shelton of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren, Lindsey, Cameron, Dylan, Alyson, Emily and Katie; his mother, Dorothy Mersch of Fairbank; and a brother, George (Norma) of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by his father.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Waterloo, with inurnment in St. Francis Cemetery, Barclay. Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 138 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1623. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation also for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
