Mrs. Nettie Jane Woodruff, 87, died Wednesday noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Helen A. Nettleton, 628 West Ninth Street. Death was caused by coronary occlusion.

She was born Feb. 17, 1862, in Ohio, the daughter of D. D. and Elizabeth Morgan. She was married Jan 7, 1885 to Lora H. Woodruff near Knoxville, Iowa. They lived at Knoxville for several years, coming to Waterloo in February of 1895.

She was preceded in death by her husband Feb. 16, 1923, and by two children in infancy.

Survivors are two sons, Treacy* M. 1121 West Fourth Street, and Edward K. 311 Joder Street; a daughter; Mrs. Helen A. Nettleton, 628 West Ninth Street, a sister, Mrs. Minnie Beaver, Anita, Iowa; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

The body is at the Kistner Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are pending.
