EVANSDALE - Edward Thomas "Tom" Allen, 57, of Evansdale, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at Waverly Health Center, Waverly.

He was born April 7, 1948, in Brawley, Calif., son of George Alvin and Margaret Evelyn Randolph Allen Sr. He married Teresa Frost on Oct. 28, 1989, in Waterloo, and they later divorced.

Mr. Allen had been employed as a truck driver for Crawford Transport since 1997.

Survivors include his former wife, Teresa Allen of Shell Rock; four sons, Jacob, Max and Alex Allen, all of Shell Rock, and Todd Herrmann of Evansdale; and two brothers, George (Marsha) of Evansdale and Jerry (Carol) Newell of Oklahoma.

Preceded in death by a son, Justin John Allen.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Evansdale, with burial in Garden of Memories. Waterloo. Friends may call for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, is in charge of arrangements.
