Services for Theodore S. Klein, 81, of 725 Washington St., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Ryan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Eagle Center. Parish Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home.

Mr. Klein died at 4 a.m. Monday at Parkview Garden Center of cancer.

He was born March 1, 1892, in Eagle Center, the son of Sebastian and Mary Reiter Klein. For the past 50 years he lived in Waterloo.

Mr. Klein retired in 1955 from employment at the Black Hawk County Courthouse.

He married Pearl Jacobs Oct. 25, 1913, in Waterloo. Mr. Klein was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Kenneth of Brandon and Max of 1201 Westland Ave.; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Ingamells of Hudson; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother Fred of Riceville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and two brothers.

Friends may call at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
