Cecil C. Weidman, 41, died at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Monday evening.

He was a former resident of Waterloo and left here about two years ago. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Weidman of 330 North Roosevelt Rd., Evansdale.

Funeral services are pending at the Chapel of Memories.

Funeral services for Cecil C. Weidman, 41, formerly of Waterloo, who died Monday evening in Cedar Rapids, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Alvin Dungan, pastor of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Mr. Weidman was born March 31, 1921, in Waterloo the son of Elmer and Marie Hemsath Weidman. In 1947 he marled Violet Marquette but they were later divorced.

While in Waterloo he was employed by the Display Sign Co. and the Fish Sign Co. He left Waterloo about two years ago for Cedar Rapids where he worked as a sheet metal worker for the Smythe Sign Co.

Mr. Weidman is survived by two daughters, Donna Mae and Becky Lucile, both of Cedar Rapids; his parents, of 330 N. Roosevelt Rd., Evansdale; two brothers, Norman, of 217 River Forest Rd., Evansdale, and Delbert, of 736 Dundee Ave.; four sisters: Mrs. Frank Mitchell, of Beloit, Wis.; Mrs. Roger Wagner, of 2711 Crestline; Mrs. Donald Potter, of 1224 Westland Ave.; and Miss Florence Weidman of Woodward.
