Services for Grant Emerson Marvin, 76, of 649 Parker St., will be Saturday at 11 a. m. at the Chapel of Memories West. The Rev. C. Wayne Overholser, associate pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the Garden of Memories.

Mr. Marvin died Sunday afternoon at Zenhyr Hills, Fla. while on vacation.

Born in St. Louis Dec. 8, 1898, he came to Iowa as a child and lived on farms in Black Hawk and Butler Counties.

He married the former Fave Bristow, Feb. 3, 1945 here. He was employed as an auto repairman.

Mr. Marvin was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his widow; and a sister, Miss Marion Ruth Marvin, of Napa, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at the Chapel of Memories West after 7 p.m. Thursday.
