PARKERSBURG - Mark W. Morrison, 81, of rural Parkersburg and Cedar Falls, died Monday, April 19, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, from injuries received in a farm burning accident.
He was born Feb. 24, 1924, on a farm north of Hudson, son of John William and Zepha Huppert Morrison. He graduated from Dunkerton High School and had been a lifelong farmer, first near Dunkerton and then near Parkersburg. He also had worked at Clay Equipment Co., Cedar Falls, until his retirement.
Survivors include a brother, Paul (Josephine) of Racine, Wis.; a sister-in-law, Lois Morrison of Waterloo; and two nieces, Linda and Patricia Morrison, both of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by a brother, Alfred A.; and a nephew, Michael Morrison.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bethel Presbyterian Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.
