CEDAR FALLS - Carl M. Mueller, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

He was born Nov. 26, 1913, in California, Mo., son of William and Clara Goller Mueller. He married Ada Marie Muller June 30, 1938, in Yorktown. She died Sept. 4, 1996.

Mr. Mueller owned and operated Muellers Furniture in Waterloo from 1948 until retiring in 1988. He also owned Carriage House Furniture in Waterloo and Cedar Rapids. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Steven (Cynthia) of St. Louis Park, Minn.; a daughter, Pamela Leahy of Independence; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Paul (Edna) of Bakersfield, Calif.

Preceded in death by a brother, Edward, and two sisters, Wilma Redmond and Martha Otte.

Services: 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for an hour before services at the church Saturday.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.
