CEDAR FALLS -- Lauretta Clara Marie Luttinen, 93, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.

She was born Sept. 11, 1920, daughter of the Rev. Hugo and Florentine Lutz. She married Alvar Luttinen; he died in 1999.

Lauretta worked in the children's library at Cedar Falls Public Library and was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church.

Survived by two sons, Norman (Marilyn) of Cedar Falls and Gail (Kay) of Denver; eight grandchildren, Lara (Josh) Jepsen of Singapore, Lonnie Luttinen of Cedar Falls, Julie (Scott) Miller and Jill (Paul) Renshaw, both of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Brian (Abigail Diers) Luttinen of Glen Carbon, Ill., Paul Luttinen of Peoria, Ill., Debbie Luttinen of Chicago and Andrew (Heather) Luttinen of Galena, Ill.; and seven great-grandchildren, Jae and Joanah Jepsen, Gabe and Bailey Luttinen, Jada Henry, Ryan Miller and Ethan Renshaw.

Preceded in death by a son, The Rev. Charles Luttinen.

Memorial services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Nazareth Lutheran Church chapel.
