Mrs. Nancy Chamblee, 30, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Waterloo, died in Phoenix Friday
of diabetes, according to word received here by her parents, Virgil Tullis of 100 Chicago St. and Mrs. Eleanor Medhaug of Cedar Falls.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1941, in Waterloo.

Funeral services are pending at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home, awaiting the arrival of the body.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Chamblee, 30, of Phoenix, Ariz., and La Porte City, formerly of Waterloo, who died of complications of diabetes at her Phoenix home on Saturday, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home. The Rev. E. Charles Anderson, pastor of St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial services will be at Katharine Pahl Memorial Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born Dec. 31, 1941, in Waterloo. Her parents, Virgil Tullis of 100 Chicago St. and Mrs. Eleanore Medhaug, of 3120 Scenic Drive, Cedar Falls survive her. She was married to Wayne Chamblee March 12, 1961, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Chamblee graduated from St. Luke's Nursing Home as an X-ray assistant, and was away from her family in La Porte City while she was studying neurological medicine at Bethlehem Hospital in Phoenix.

Other survivors include her husband, La Porte City; two daughters, Mary E., and Martha E., both at home in La Porte City; and a brother, Jimmie D. Tullis of Minneapolis, Minn.
