Funeral services are pending at Locke Funeral Home for Mrs. Maude Homer, 67, of Woodlawn Convalescent Home. She died there at 2 p.m. Sunday of complications following a stroke.

She was born Feb. 19, 1905, in Waterloo, the daughter of Harry R. and Myra Wilson Gould. She was married to Merle E. Homer Feb. 14, 1932, in Waterloo. They were later divorced. She was a graduate of the former Presbyterian School of Nursing in Waterloo and was employed as a registered nurse until her retirement several years ago. Mrs. Homer was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James Webrand of 1818 Gibson St., Cedar Falls, and Mrs. Joseph Bruns of Janesville; four sons, Robert W. of West Des Moines, James R. of Atlanta, Ga., Richard M. of Bensonville, Ill., and Eugene D. of Lincoln, Neb., and 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home.
