CEDAR FALLS — Services for Mrs. Neil Grubb, 71, of 2421 Iowa St., Cedar Falls, who died at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., Monday at 7:30 p.m. of cancer, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Katharine G. Pahl Memorial Chapel in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at Kearns- Dykeman Chapel after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may give
memorials to the Black Hawk County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Grubb was born Fern Marie Dodd on June 12, 1900, in Barnes City, the daughter of Ben and Cora Wymore Dodd. She was married to Neil Grubb on July 3, 1918, in Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Grubb had been employed for 20 years at Campbell Hall at the University of Northern Iowa, serving the last 10 as director of Campbell Hall Food Service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cedar Falls and the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 78 of Cedar Falls.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Burl of 503 2nd St., Washburn; two daughters, Mrs. Imogene Schuler of Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Jack Gross of Rt. 1: one brother, Bush Dodd of 2423, Walnut St.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister

Funeral services for Mrs. Neil Grubb, 71, of 2421 Iowa St., Cedar Falls, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Katherine G. Pahl Memorial Chapel in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Grubb died at 7:30 p.m. Monday in St. Mary's Hospital at Rochester, Minn.

The Rev. Harvey Nelson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls, will officiate at the service and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Kearns-Dykeman chapel after 4 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday. Those who wish to contribute have been asked to contribute to the Black Hawk County Chapter of the Americai Cancer Society in her name.
