THOMAS H. LAZEMBY

Thomas H. Lazemby, who had farmed most of his life in the Waterloo vicinity, died at 10 a. m. Monday at his home. Route 5, of a heart ailment. He was 82 years old.

Thomas Henry Lazemby was born in Illinois, April 6, 1859, the son of Robert and Rebecca Lazemby. He came to this vicinity to live when a young man. He married Carrie Graham in Waterloo 52 years ago. and the couple had since lived on the same farm.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Harry Padget, Dewar, Ia.; Mrs. Ray Peverill 225 Mobile Street, Waterloo, and Mrs. D. M. Cable, San Dimas, Cal.; two sons, Walter and Robert Lazemby, both of Route 5; 13 grandchildren; one sister, living in California; one half-sister, Mrs. Thomas Feely, and two half-brothers, George and John Baldwin, all of 441 Florence Street; and a niece, Mrs. Fred Hartong, 201 South Street.

The body was taken lo the Petersen Bros, Funeral Home. The daughter, Mrs. Cable, is expected to come from California to attend the funeral service.
