BIRENBAUM, CONN, MARKOVITZ

Morris Birenbaum, 52, died at 6 a.m. Saturday at his home, 432 Home Park Boulevard, of apoplexy. He was proprietor of the B & B shoe store, 208 Fourth Street East.

He was born Jan. 27, 1880. in Poland, and came to America in 1899. He had been a retail shoe salesman for 20 years. Mr. Birenbaum had been a resident of Waterloo for six months, coming here from Pontiac, Ill.

He was married in Poland, and his wife died in St. Louis, Mo., in 1917. He married
Sophia B. Conn in November, 1929, at Springfield, Ill.

Surviving besides his widow are three sons: Joseph, Rochelle, Ill.; Ben B., 432 Home Park Boulevard, and Abe, Mason City; one daughter, Mrs. Rose Markovitz, St. Louis; also three grandchildren, and one brother, Louis Birenbaum, St. Louis.

The body was taken to the Kistner Funeral Home.

The body of Morris Birenbaum, 52, who died Saturday at his home, 132 Home Park Boulevard, was sent Sunday to St. Louis, Mo., where funeral services and burial were to be conducted Monday.
