WATERLOO - Cheryle Ann Ohrt, 49, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital.

She was born on April 18, 1964, in Waterloo, daughter of Gary and Sandra (Deitrick) Ohrt. She married Jeffrey Baker on June 9, 1989; they later divorced.

Cheryle graduated from Kaplan University with a bachelor of art degree and was pursuing her master's degree.

Survived by her father, Gary (Claudia) Ohrt of Panama City, Fla.; her mother, Sandra Slater of Waterloo; a son, Dylan Behm of Waterloo; two daughters, April Ohrt of Waterloo and Danielle Baker of Waterloo; three grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Mary) Slater of Waterloo; and two sisters, Nicole Ohrt of Freeport, Fla., and Tianna (Jeremy) Ades of Raymond.

Services 7 p.m. Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, also at the church. Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, is assisting the family.
