ERNEST EUGENE BROOKS.

Ernest E. Brooks, 66, died at his home at 83 Webster Street at 4:20 p. m. yesterday of a heart condition. He had been ill for about five years.

He was born Apr. 22, 1881, at Crcsco. Ia., and married Nellie E Zipse. Sept. 1, 1903. at New Hampton, Ia. He was a butter maker at Allison, Ia., for a number of years, and then moved to Waterloo where he had lived for the past five years.

Mr. Brooks was a member of the United Brethren Church, the Opal Masonic lodge No. 417, and the Order of the Eastern Star at Allison.

Surviving are his wife; four sons: Calvin D., Cincinnati, O., Clyde W., 1231 Wallgate Avenue, Clark F., 1812 Falls Avenue, and Clarence, 83½ Webster Street; three daughters: Mrs. Goldie Parker, Evanston, Ill., Mrs. Sylvia B. Lewis, at home, and Mrs. Fayth E. Calkwarth,* Sterling, Ill.; two brothers, A. J. Lemmon. S. D. and Solon N., Phillips, S. D., and nine grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at Kearns Garden chapel.
