WATERLOO - Kenneth Albert Johnson, 67, of Boone, formerly of Waterloo and Newton, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at the Kavanagh House on 56th Street, Des Moines.

He was born Aug. 6, 1938, in Defiance, son of Guy Frederick and Stella Christine Stoops Johnson. He married Jane Cahoe, and they later divorced.

Mr. Johnson attended school in Diagonal. He worked for Titus Manufacturing Co. for 16 years as a machinist.

Survivors include a daughter, Diana Lynn Johnson of Waterloo; a son, Danny Lee of Waterloo; two grandsons and a great-granddaughter; his companion and her daughter, Sandy Huebner and Debbie, both of Phoenix; a brother, Gary F. (Peggy) of Boone; and two sisters, Dorothy (John) Bever of Bouton Deloris Pierce of Boone.

Preceded in death by a brother, Leslie Eugene; and a sister, Maude Janet Johnson.

Memorial services: 3 p.m. Saturday at Fraternal Order of Eagles in Waterloo. Schroeder-Walter Funeral Home, Boone, was in charge of arrangements.
