WATERLOO - Jonna Marie Hauptly-Elliott, 56, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 31, 1949, in Cedar Falls, daughter of John and Marcella Chestnut Paustates. She married Robert Hauptly Oct. 1, 1966, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. They later divorced.

She was a 1967 graduate of West High School and received her associates degree from AIC Business College. She was a licensed real estate agent.

Survived by her mother, Marcella "Sally" Paustates of Waterloo; three daughters, Melissa (Adam) Williams of Dike, Sarah (Lee) Herman of Dunkerton and Amanda (Jason) Albrecht of Hazleton; seven grandchildren, Mackenzie, Max and Maclain Williams, Alan, Lydia and Gus Herman and Natalie Albrecht; and a sister, Marcy (Bruce) Minshall of Brooklyn Park, Minn.

Preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Pam Seegmiller.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
