WATERLOO - Donna L. Jacob, 81, of Waterloo, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center Emergency Room of a heart attack.

She was born March 13, 1924, in Dallas, S.D., daughter of Clarence and Iva Madeline Menzie Young. She married Fredrick A. Jacob on Nov. 30, 1946, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Jacob was a senior companion for 23 years and also was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, David (Colleen) Jacob of Cedar Falls and Bruce (Sarah) Reinhart of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Troy Reinhart, Doug Reinhart, Israel (Julie) Jacob and Carrie (Nathan) Traetow; four great-grandchildren, Lucas Jacob, Shelby Jacob, Isabelle Jacob and Ian Jacob.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Donald Young.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with burial in Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Visitation also for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
