WATERLOO -- Kenny Gates, 75, of Waterloo, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Jan. 3, 1939, in Waterloo, son of Clifford and Elsie Loy Gates. He worked for Sibert's Laundry and Dry Cleaning for many years.

Survived by five brothers, Clifford, Ronald and Larry (Annie), all of Waterloo, LaVerne (Jeanette) of Florida and Don (Shirley) of Aurora, Mo.; and three sisters, Joan Hanley of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Barbara Davis and Karen Moore, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents; five brothers Gary, Robert, John, G.W. "Bill" and Dennis; and three sisters, LaVonne Rochholz, Sally Gates and Betty Engelhardt.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
