CEDAR FALLS -- Mildred LaVonne "Bonnie" Miller, 80, of Tangent, Ore., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Jan. 26, 2014, at Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House in Oregon.

She was born May 10, 1933, in Fort Dodge, daughter of Lewis and Opal Cummins Pepples. She married Henry “Hank” Miller on June 17, 1977, in Cedar Falls.

Survived by her husband; four children, Judy (Jim) Barron and Casey Litts, both of Jefferson, Ore., Deb (Dan) Denton of Albany, Ore., and Terri (Rusty) Roberts of Janesville; two stepsons, Steve and Jerry Miller, both of Cedar Falls; a stepdaughter, Luann Jackson of Waterloo; 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson; a brother, Lewis “Rocky” Pepples of Fort Dodge; and a sister, Jan Davis of Fort Dodge.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services: were 11 a.m. today at Fisher Funeral Home, Albany.

Memorials may be directed to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice in care of Fisher Funeral Home, 306 SW Washington St., Albany, OR 97321.

Bonnie spent most of her life in Iowa. After Hank retired, they traveled in their motor home throughout many states and eventually made Oregon their home in 2001. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, frequent trips to the casino and family gatherings. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
