ROBERTS, HAMILTON, GUNDERSON, TETERS

After suffering a heart attack, Mrs. Lillie Roberts 68, died at 1:30 a. m: Sunday at the home of her son, Shelby Roberts, 748 Kern Street. She had been in poor health for two years but was not thought to be in dangerous condition.

Lillie Hamilton was born May 7, 1871, a daughter of Elihu and Mary Hamilton, on a farm in Spring Creek Township near La Porte City.

She lived there until her marriage, Feb. 25, 1886, to E. T. Roberts, after which the couple moved to Kossuth County to reside on a farm near Algona. Living there for 12 years, they came to Waterloo and remained here until 1917, when they removed to a farm near La Porte City.

Six years, ago the family moved to Waterloo, where they resided at 748 Kern Street. Mr. Roberts died in 1934.

Surviving Mrs. Roberts are her son, Shelby; two sisters, Mrs. A. J. Gunderson and Mrs. Millie Teters of La Porte City; two grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church and of the Women's Relief Corps, Royal Neighbors, and the Women's Benefit Association.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home by Rev. Harold Singer, pastor of St. Paul's Methodist Church/ The Women's Relief Corps will have charge of part of the service.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
