WATERLOO - Adeline M. Califf, 97, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born June 22, 1910, in St. James, Minn., daughter of Frank and Myrtle Sawyer Miller.

Mrs. Califf and her son owned and operated the Roundup Tavern and the Hitching Post in Waterloo. Prior to that she was in charge of housekeeping at the President Hotel for 27 years

Survived by a son, John Edmond Bordeaux of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

Services: were Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial following cremation in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Eagle Center.

Memorials may be directed to St. Edward Catholic Church.
