Services for Mrs. Katherine Walker, 83, of 546 Sunset Road, are pending at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home. She died Monday evening at her home.

She was born Dec. 25, 1897, in Wisconsin. She married Carlton Walker July 31, 1919. He preceded her in death. She was director of Family Service League in Waterloo.

She is survived by three nieces.

Services for Katherine Walker, 83, of 546 Sunset Road, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She died Monday night at her home.

Katherine Israel married W. Carlton Walker July 31, 1919.
Daughter of Lawrence J. Caffrey and Laura Augusta (Strehlow) Caffrey Israel, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Lawrence died in 1910 and her mother married Harry N. Israel in 1915. Katherine may have been adoped by Harry Israel because Israel is given as her maiden name in Carlton's obit.
