Funeral services for W. Carlton Walker, 83, of 546 Sunset Rd., will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at the Memorial Chapel, Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Walker died Thursday morning at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of complications of cancer.

Born June 7, 1891, in La Porte City, the son of Alonzo E. and Florence Quackenbush Walker, he married Katherine Israel on July 31, 1919.

Mr. Walker was a World War I veteran. He operated the Walker Uban Lumber Co. for over 50 years.

Survivors include his wife and a sister, Mrs. R. A. Rath, 312 Glencoe Ave.

Friends may call at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Friday.
