Services are pending in Phoenix, Ariz., for Loren K. (Slim) Allen, 86, of Phoenix and formerly of Waterloo, who died Saturday in Phoenix.

He was born Sept. 27, 1890, in Oelwein, the son of Allison and Orleana Allen. He married Hazel Nielson Sept. 4, 1948, in Holstein.

Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Alitha McGilligan of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Evelyn Jean of Anchorage, Alaska, and Mrs. Carol Sundt of 1927 Lafayette St.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Winson Temple of 1009 Hammond Ave.; a stepson, Earl D. Wallace of Waterloo; two brothers Alvie Allen of 1327 Vine St. and Orville Lyle Allen of 128 Dixie Circle, Evansdale; and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Sherrill of 616
Longfellow Ave. and Mrs. Velma Fary of 646 Hope St.
