WATERLOO - Steven C. Hanson, 58, of Country View Care Facility, died Saturday, May 28, 2005, at Allen Hospital.

He was born Jan. 1, 1947, in Waterloo, son of Willard R. and Eva A. Bemiss Hanson. He had been employed at Goodwill Industries.

Survivors include a brother, Dennis L. (Susan) of Waxhaw, N.C.; four nephews, Jason Hanson of Nashville, Tenn., Christopher Hanson of Indian Trail, N,C., Jeremiah and David Hanson, both of Waxhaw; and his extended family at Cedar Valley Community Support Service and Country View Care Center.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ascension Lutheran Church, Waterloo, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls. Friends may call for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. There also will be a service at Country View earlier in the day. Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the churchs bus fund.
