WATERLOO - Beverly J. Oler, 72, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital.

She was born Nov. 1, 1941, in Waverly, daughter of Winford and Edna Dahlstrom Pratt.

A 1960 graduate of Sumner High School, Sumner, she worked as a secretary for the Waterloo Community Schools for 35 years, retiring in 2009.

Survived by a daughter, Denise Oler of Waterloo; two sons, Don of Waterloo and Dave (Vicki) of Huxley; seven grandchildren; and three brothers, Herschel (Maren Kay) Pratt of Weslaco, Texas, Blair Pratt of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, and Archie Pratt of Waverly.

Preceded in death by her parents; a grandson; and a brother, Harry Pratt.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Garden View Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the chapel.
