WATERLOO - Eleanor A. Frost Allen, 80, of Des Moines, Wash., formerly of Waterloo, died on Saturday, May 21, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital, Federal Way, Wash., following a short illness.

She was born Aug. 19, 1924, in Jesup, daughter of John George and Margaret Matilda Woods Bahl.

Ms. Allen attended Jesup Community Schools.

Survivors include six daughters, Jan (Larry) Ayers of Gilbertville, Donna (Keith) Barta of Federal Way, Debra (Bill) Wagner and Margaret (Roger) Schroedermeier, both of Des Moines, Wash., Patty Ribble of Waterloo and Jacque (Mark) Knief of Evansdale; a son, Roger (Sheila Ann) Frost of Graham, Wash.; 26 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Holt and Lill Fliss; a brother, John W. Bahl; a son, Dennis Frost; a daughter, Rebecca Johaningmeier; and four grandchildren.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White Funeral Home, Jesup, with a 7 p.m. parish rosary. Visitation also for an hour before services Friday at the church.
