WATERLOO - Alice Margaret Dankenbring, 86, of Rosewood Estates, died there Sunday, May 22, 2005.

She was born April 19, 1919, in Dysart, daughter of Fred and Ella Jacobs Kusel. She married Leonard Dankenbring on Oct. 11, 1940, at her parents farm near Dysart.

Mrs. Dankenbring graduated from Keystone High School and Gates Business School, Waterloo. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Janet Clark of Houston, Texas, and Dorothy (Jerald) Silver of Trinity, Fla.; five grandchildren, Scott (Jenny) Clark, Deanna Rhoads, Blake (Tiffany) Silver, Bryce (Stacey) Silver and Ryan Silver; and six great-grandchildren, Victor, Tristan and Hannah Clark, Tatum Silver, and Camden and Payton Silver.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Fern Taylor.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in St. Marys Cemetery, Eagle Center. Friends may call from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be given to Rosewood Estates.
