WATERLOO - Patrick Allen McCombs, 53, of Waterloo, died Thursday, May 19, 2005. at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

He was born April 14, 1952, in Ottumwa, son of Clarence "Mac" and Joan Winter McCombs. He was employed as a chipper and welder at Viking Pump Co., Cedar Falls, for 15 years. He also was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include a daughter, Amanda McCombs of Waterloo; a granddaughter, Destiny Moore of Waterloo; his mother of Waterloo; a brother, Michael of Waterloo; and a sister, Cheryl Neidert of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his father; a nephew, Jason McCombs; and his grandparents.

Family-directed memorial services will be later.
