Arlyn W. Ramaker, 62, of 713 Dena St., died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1991, at Delaware County Hospital, Manchester, of a heart attack.

He was born Aug. 11, 1929, in rural Lime Springs, son of Arthur J. and Winnie Vrieze Ramaker. He married Amelda A. Fitzthum on Sept. 12, 1953, in Cherry Grove, Minn.

Mr. Ramaker was employed at Rath Packing Co. for 31 years. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Danny A. of Gilbertville; a daughter, Joellen K. Walter of Richmond, Texas; six grandchildren; a brother, Duane G. of Cherry Grove; and a sister, Janice M. Hovey of Ostrander, Minn.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William J.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Becker-Chapman Post 138 American Legion and Waterloo Post 1623 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
