Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Monday afternoon at the Turner Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids for Mrs. Marilyn Humphrey Geiger, 34, of Cedar Rapids, a former Waterloo resident.

Mrs. Geiger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Humphry, of 315 Byron Ave., died Friday at Cedar Rapids of cancer.

She was born in Waterloo Nov. 9, 1929, and graduated from West High. She received a degree in speech therapy from the State College of Iowa, Cedar Falls, and did graduate work in speech therapy at the State University of Iowa, Iowa City.

She was married to Dr. Richard E. Geiger in Cedar Rapids in 1958. She was employed as a speech therapist in Cedar Rapids public schools for the past eight years. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids.

Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Valerie Jeanne of Cedar Rapids; her parents; two brothers, Donald Humphry, of Oak Lawn, Ill.; and Dr. Kenneth Humphry, of Arcata, Calif.; and two sisters Mrs. Ray Stoy, of 315 Byron Ave.; and Dr. Betty Jeanne Humphry, of Princeton, N. J.
