Alfred Thomas Ingamells, 82, pioneer Black Hawk County farmer, died at 9:30 a. m. Thursday at Isolation Hospital where he had been a patient the past year.

He had made his home with a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Rosselow, Route 6, Waterloo, since 1932 when his health failed and he retired from farming.

He was born at Barton, Wis., on Nov. 25, 1860, son of Charlotte and John Ingamells, and married Anna Humphrey at Reinbeck, Ia., on Dec. 22, 1884. His wife died on April 10, 1898.

Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Mrs. Clara Flickinger, who died Feb. 12, 1903.

He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Reinbeck.

Surviving besides Mrs. Rosselow are a second daughter, Mrs. Emma Harris, Santa Ana, Cal.; two sons, Glen, Harvey, Ill., and Allen, South Pasadena, Cal.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Kearns Garden Chapel.
