John Funk, age 65, a farmer livling in Bennington Township, died at 6:30 p.m. yesterday at the family home. He had been ill several months from an affection of the
heart.

He had been a resident of the county for 33 years, coming from Carroll County, Illinois, where he was born.

He is survived by the widow, three sons, Erwin R., Clarence and Albert, at home; and three brothers, George Funk, Brandon; Will, Whittemore, and Conrad, Osage.

Funeral services probably will be Sunday, with burial in the Fritz Cemetery.
