Donald William Trunnell Jr., 65, of Greenville S.C., formerly of Waterloo, died Oct. 20, 2000, in Greenville of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 2, 1935, in Waterloo, son of Donald William and Williebelle Harwell Trunnell. He retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served 21 years. He worked at the Black Hawk County Courthouse from 1975 to 1985, and retired from PYA/Monarch Inc., Greenville.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Donald W. III of Lake Zurich, Ill., and Mark S. of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Donna Hansen of Cedar Falls and Helena Breisch of Dunnellon, Fla.; three grandchildren; and a brother, Gary of Monument, Colo.

Memorial services were Oct. 23 at Mackey Mortuary in Greenville.
