WATERLOO - Evelyn M. Neeley, 83, of Puyallup, Wash., formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2000 at the Regency Rehabilitation Center, Puyallup, Wash., of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 2, 1914, in Waterloo, daughter of John E. and Pearl Ritz Miner. She married George Neeley in October of 1957 in Waterloo. He preceded her in death.

She worked for many years as a clerk at Miner's Sport and Repair Shop, Waterloo.

Survived by two brothers, John Miner of Lexington, Ky., and Paul Miner of Fairfield, Ohio; and a sister, Patricia Wells of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Kathryn Hill and Elberta Foreman.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date at the Elmwood Cemetery, Waterloo. There will be no visitation; her body was cremated. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service/South Street is in charge of arrangements.
