WATERLOO - Russell W. Reeves, 72, of Waterloo, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at ManorCare of lung cancer.

He was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Tama County, son of Louis and Olive Conrad Reeves. He married Joyce M. Randall March 14, 1951, in Waterloo.

Mr. Reeves had been a supervisor in the Engine Works division at John Deere for 22 years.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randy and Jeff (Lorene), both of Waterloo; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Louie and Roy (Luella), both of Waterloo; and six sisters, Fern Brubaker, Grace McKinley, Georgia Eibey, Pearl McKinley, Jean Randall and Rosiva Swanson.

Preceded in death by four sisters, Eva Reeves, Mary McKinley, Fanny Reeves and Rosezella Reeves.

Memorial services 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
