EVANSDALE - Leland G. Carlisle, 68, of Rock Island, Ill., formerly of Evansdale, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Riverpark Health Care Center, Rock Island.

He was born June 29, 1937, in La Porte City, son of Walter and Ruth Purdy Carlisle. He worked at Ledermans Clothing for 29 years as a stock person, then drove a delivery/courtesy car for Reeds Automotive for several years.

Survived include an aunt, Lola Evans of Moline, Ill.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Garden View Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories, both in Waterloo. Friends may call for an hour before services Tuesday at the chapel.
