Mrs. Mabel E. Baker, 63, of 218 Beech St., died Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of a kidney infection. Mrs. Baker had been in poor health for several years.

She was born July 19, 1890, in Delaware County, Iowa, the daughter of William and Lucy Osgersvy Allen. On Sept. 4, 1911, she was married to Clarence E. Baker at Manchester. Mr. and Mrs. Baker came to Waterloo from Storm Lake in 1926.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Leslie L. of 702 Indiana St., Earl L. of 1324 Grant St., Fred G., at home, and Wayne A., at home; four daughters, Mrs. James Gary of 2245 Grand Ave., Mrs. Witson Greiman of Garner, Iowa, Mrs. Wintfred Keeves of 319 Newell St., and Alice, at home; a sister, Mrs. Charles Meader of Manchester; and 10 grandchildren.

Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by a brother and two grandsons.

Services are being arranged at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home.
