Mrs. Katherine Hayden, 86, died of complications incident to advanced age at 11:40 a.m. Friday at the Scott Convalescent Home, 214 Falls Ave.

She was born Oct. 31, 1866, at Elma and had lived in Waterloo for 20 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Survivng are two sons, Earl of Elma and Reed of Elkhart, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Charles.

The body is at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home, where funeral arrangements are pending.

Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Hayden, 86, who died Friday morning at the Scott Convalescent Home, will be Monday at 3 p. m. at the Grace Methodist Church. Rev. Fr. Joseph Kissling, assistint pastor, will officiate, and burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

The Rosary will be said Sunday at 8 p. m. at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home.

The list of survivors includes six brothers, Martin McGrane of Alta Vista; Lee and Charles McGrane of Chicago, and Wililam, Jim and John McGrane, all of Osage, and three sisters, Mrs. Ray Darnst, Little Rock, Ark.; Mrs. Celia Kelly, Washington, D. C., and Mrs. William Cashman, of Chicago, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
