HUDSON—Services for Eldon. E. Arter, 67, will be 2 p.m. Saturday al Hudson Community Church with burial in Hudson Cemetery. He was dead on arrival at Mercy Hospital; Clinton, Thursday afternoon of a heart attack.

He was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Tama County, son of Ed and Leonora Bonewitz Arter. He married Leona Dufel Oct. 15, 1935, in Reinbeck, and they were later divorced. He married Sarah Fuglsang Hayes Nov. 20, 1965, in Maquoketa. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Laveme of Reinbeck; a daughter, Mrs. Ingrid Morgan of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Mastain of Hudson and Mrs. Alzada Yarrington of 1136 Hammond Ave., Waterloo; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, after 5 p.m. Friday.
