Services for Palmer M. Vickers, 87, of 1218 Vine St., will be 3 p.m. Saturday at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. He died at his home Thursday morning.

He was born July 20, 1892, in Cloverdale, Wis., son of Samuel and Nellie Vickers. He married Irma Gehrig May 3, 1919, in Dyersville. They resided in Stockton, Ill., until 1929 when they moved to Dyersville where he owned and operated a radio-appliance sales and service shop. In 1949 they moved to Waterloo where Mr. Vickers was employed by the Waterloo Community School District until his retirement.

AF & AM Lodge 670 will open at 2:30 p.m. Saturday to conduct Masonic services.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Austin L. of Redlands, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services.
